For a peaceful and respectful interaction with dolphins, it’s recommended to start early at 6:15 during the
winter season and 5:30 during the summer season. The tour typically involves observing bottlenose or
spinner dolphins and swimming with them for approximately 60 to 90 minutes. After that, the tour
proceeds to look for whales. It’s important to approach marine wildlife with care and caution, and to
follow any regulations or guidelines in place for the area where you are observing them. Remember that
dolphins and whales are wild animals and should be respected in their natural habitat. Additionally, it’s
important to minimize our impact on the environment and practice sustainable and eco-friendly behaviour
while enjoying these amazing creatures.
ITINERARY
05:30 (Summer) or 06:15 (Winter): Welcome at Black River – La Balise Marina
(Shop 17)
Observing and swimming with bottlenose or spinner dolphins.
After that, the tour proceeds to look for humpback whales or spermwhales
(according to the season)
9:30/10:15 : Back at La Balise Marina and end of the cruise

• Please note that the number of dolphins on site and the behaviour of the
animals change on a day-to-day basis. We don’t control those two things
because they’re wild and they can’t predict encounters beforehand. Our team
adjusts and makes every effort to offer a memorable interaction.
• Please note that there is a possibility that we may not see whales, but we use a
hydrophone to locate them.
• To ensure your comfort, all snorkelling equipment will be provided on board
